The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947, and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. ACM-YCCE is a professional community established in the year 2008 by the department of Computer Technology, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering which is now managed by Computer Technology and Computer Science and Engineering departments collboratively since 2022. It aims to bring awareness among people about the latest technologies being introduced in the tech-world and educate them about the same. ACM-YCCE also works for the upbringing of students who Aspire to bring Changes by organizing events based on cutting edge technologies.
Welcome to the YCCE Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)! We the department of Computer Technology having stand up of 37 years are known for dedication towards spread of quality education in the society. Being very impulsive discipline, we believe that change is the only permanent thing which make you survive for long. YCCE established ACM student chapter in 2008 and it has grown up as a Bible which spreads at global level. Under ACM student chapter we organize various international and national events, competitions, SDPs etc. ACM provides a platform for computing professionals, researchers, educators, and students to share ideas and foster collaboration. Our mission is to promote the latest advancements in computing technologies, theories, and applications. At YCCE, we are committed to promote diversity and inclusion in all aspects of computing. Our goal is to offer resources that help our members stay up-to-date with the latest research and industry trends. We offer a variety of educational programs, including online courses, certifications, and training programs in a wide range of computing topics, from data science to cybersecurity. As a student chapter, we also provide networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to resources for students interested in computing. We believe that students have the power to shape the future of computing and we are committed to help them boost their skills and careers.
