Embrace the excitement of "Desi Daredevils," a dynamic 3-stage game tailor-made for teams of four members. Each stage offers a unique challenge, promising a day filled with laughter and teamwork. Round 1: HURDLE RUSH - Exercise your mental and physical prowess as you maneuver through a demanding obstacle course, relying on your teammates to guide you towards victory. Round 2: FOOD MATCHUP - If you're a food lover, this one's for you. Indulge your taste buds in a delightful food adventure that promises a delectable experience like no other. Round 3: DICE MYSTERY - The grand finale is the mysterious "Dice Mystery," a life-sized game inspired by ludo, brimming with larger-than-life excitement.

Versus Coding

The "Versus Coding" competition was organized by the Computer Technology Department as part of Compufest 2k23, and it was conducted online on the HackerRank platform. The event was expertly coordinated by Badal Wanjari and Omkar Kawadghare and was open to all young aspirants. The competition Consisted of three rounds, with each team comprised of four students. In each round, teams were presented with a set of problem statements and were required to compete against each other. The criteria for elimination in the competition were based on both completion time and point accumulation. Those teams that completed the tasks faster and obtained the highest points advanced to the next round. In the final round, the team that completed the challenge the fastest and accrued the most points emerged as the winner of the Versus Coding competition and received a cash prize. The winning team consisted of the following students: Yogendra Bhavsar, Vishal Rathod, Pranay Malviya, and Tushar Kamale.

Cyber Safe was organized as part of Compufest 2k23, An International-Level Techfest hosted by the Department of Computer Technology on October 11, 2023. Coordinated by Mr. Himanshu Gajbiye. This event took place in an offline mode, and it attracted participation. With the aim of enhancing cyber awareness and experts in the field of cybersecuring digital safety, the event brought together students and These sessions were highly informative and interactive, offering valuable insights into the world of cyber threats. The Cyber Safe Workshop was a resounding success, providing students with essential knowledge about cybersecurity.

UI UX BOOTCAMP

The UI UX Bootcamp organized under Compufest 2k23 was conducted offline at the labs of the Computer Technology Department at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE) in Nagpur. The event was organized by Anup Tarone and Chirayu Sakarkar, and the featured speaker was Ashwini Hingolikar, a UI UX Designer at Medidek in Nagpur. The bootcamp was structured in a modular manner, allowing participants to start with the foundational principles of UI/UX design and gradually progress to more advanced topics. It garnered significant participation from students across various departments who had the opportunity to learn about the insights of UI/UX and engage in hands-on sessions. Additionally, the event also provided discussions on career opportunities in the UI/UX field.

The Scripted Secret event, held on October 12, 2026, las part of Compufest 2k23, organized by the Computer Technology Department, was an exciting competition. Coordinated by Mr. Pranav Pandit and Ms. Vidisha Fulzele, the event attracted a total of 13 teams, with each team composed of four students. The challenge posed to the participants was uncovering a hidden treasure on the college campus. This quest required them to solve a series of intricate codes and follow the provided clues. After an intense and exciting competition, Kirtesh Maskey and his team emerged as the victors, showcasing their impressive problem-solving skills and teamwork. The event was a resounding success, providing an engaging platform for students to apply their technical and analytical abilities in a real-world context.

The Department of Computer Technology successfully conducted a Git and GitHub workshop on October 7th, 2023, featuring Gandhar Patwardhan as the speaker. The workshop's primary objective was to educate students on the fundamental concepts and significance of Git and GitHub in software development. Value added Course onNetworking and Cloud Computing

The ACM Student Chapter at YCCE successfully organized a Value-Added Course (VAC) on Networking and Cloud Computing from August 5th to September 20th, 2023. The course was conducted online, with Mr. Raj Arora, Senior Network Engineer at Revat Network, serving as the esteemed resource person. This comprehensive course provided students with a deep understanding of Networking and Cloud Computing concepts, significantly enhancing their knowledge in these areas. The program was expertly coordinated by Prof. N.U. Sambhe and Dr. N.V. Thakur from the Department of Computer Technology at YCCE. A total of 145 students from the 5th semester of Computer Technology participated in the course, benefiting greatly from the insightful sessions and practical knowledge shared.

Value added course on “Core Competency Building”

The ACM Student Chapter at YCCE, in collaboration with the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS), successfully conducted a Value-Added Course (VAC) on "Core Competency Building" from February 10th to April 13th, 2024. In-house faculty delivered sessions on Advanced SQL, Data Structures, OOP, Python, and Aptitude Test preparation, focusing on placement readiness. Coordinated by Prof. S.P. Pande, the course saw participation from 69 students of the 6th semester AIDS department, who greatly benefited from the comprehensive training provided.

VAC on Entrepreneurship Development Program

The Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) is an initiative designed to foster entrepreneurial skills and promote a culture of entrepreneurship. This report provides an overview and evaluation of the EDP conducted from February 10th, 2024, to May 6th, 2024.
Objectives of the EDP:
• Equip students with essential entrepreneurial skills such as business planning, market analysis, financial management, and marketing strategies.
• Inspire and encourage individuals to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and create job opportunities.
• Provide networking opportunities and mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Program Structure: The program was structured into modules covering various aspects of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, feasibility analysis, business model canvas, funding options, and scaling up. It included lectures, case studies, interactive sessions, and group activities to ensure active participation and practical learning. Expert sessions featured successful entrepreneurs sharing their experiences and insights with participants.

Session on Mastering DSA and Mentoring on Off Campus Placements

The online session on Mastering DSA and Mentoring on Off Campus Placements witnessed a large audience with curious, enthusiastic and techy students. The online session illuminated the mind of our fellow attendees and helped them to get clarity about DSA and college placements. It sowed the fundamental seed of preparation and guidance for paving a strong professional career in the IT industry. Our esteemed speaker, Mr. Sankalp Kotewar, currently working as SDE 2 at Microsoft unveiled the roadmap to excel in campus placements. The speaker shared his professional journey and enlightened budding technocrats to meet the industry required skillset. The speaker shared his tech journey graduating from VNIT Nagpur with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering. Since, he has worked with many organizations such as GitHub, Fidelity Investments, he spoke in depth about the preparation that a fresher can do before the onset of placements. With a focus on diverse domains such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Competitive Coding and Web Development, the students got a chance to expand the horizons of their knowledge at various fronts. Enthralled by the eloquent discussion, the attendees asked questions out of their curiosity. Mr. Kotewar answered these questions satisfactorily. The mentoring provided a clear vision about the on-demand industry skills and the required skillset to excel in on campus as well as off campus placements. Overall the session was a grand success. It proved to be a successful event, under the valuable guidance of Prof. Supriya Thombre and Prof. Pratibha Waghale.

Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science has organized one day Student Development Program on Data Science dated 13 March 2024 for the 4th Semester AIDS students. The program was facilitated by Mr. Nikhil Tamrakar, Software Engineer at P360. The program aimed to provide students with insights into the practical applications of Data Science the skill set required for a successful career in the field. The sessions were designed to be interactive, combining theoretical knowledge to enhance the learning experience The Program not only enhanced the students' knowledge but also inspired them to consider a career in this dynamic and evolving field. The coordination for the event was efficiently handled Mrs. Shubhangi S. Shambharkar, Assistant professor from the Computer Technology (CT) department, YCCE. Her efforts ensured the smooth execution of the SDP and facilitated a conductive learning environment. The organizers express their gratitude to Mr. Nikhil Tamrakar for his time, expertise, and commitment to nurturing the next generation of data scientists. The program's success serves as a testament to the importance of such initiatives in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. Student Development Program on DevOPs CI/CD PIPELINE

The ACM Student Chapter at YCCE, Nagpur, organized a Student Development Program on "Software Development Process in Industry and Introduction to DevOps CI/CD Pipeline" on March 21st, 2024. Mr. Rahul Raut, Head of DevOps and Automation at Orangebits Software Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Nagpur, led the workshop. The event provided valuable insights into software engineering concepts, benefiting both students and faculty members. Coordinated by Prof. Sharayu Kawale from the Computer Technology department, the workshop saw 138 attendees out of 141 registrations. The program was a successful learning experience for all participants.
