ACM-YCCE, organized a Webinar on “Opportunities and Applications of AI and ML” for the students. The Main Speakers were Professionals from IBS that have a hefty experience of the IT industry and also had worked in close touch to trends and development progress in the fields of AI and ML. It was attended by more than 65 students from the CT department. The Amazing Webinar with lots of takeaways for AI-ML enthusiasts in the form of future insights and latest updates from the field and also know-how of how the systems work.

ACM-YCCE organized a webinar on “Salesforce” . The webinar was coordinated by M. Aakash Wankhede. The webinar was conducted for the students of second ,third and fourth year. The speaker has given information about Salesforce and basics. They also told regarding currently trending programming languages and other skills required for placement. The program was beneficial for students.

First day of workshop is dedicated to the fundamental concepts of the programming language Java. Prarthana Deshkar covered the topics Introduction to Java, Features of Java, Program execution essentials, Java variables, Java data types, Java operators and keywords, Control Structures.
On Day 2, Prarthana Deshkar started the session. Java class and object, Java array, these topics were covered in second day. Mr. Gandhar Ptwardhan conducted the post lunch session. He guided the students on importance of learning java to become industry ready. He also covered some advance concepts related to java class. He also focuses on the topic constructors and different types of constructors.

The hands-on programming practice conducted by Mr. Vishal Deshmukh, Software Engg, TCS, Nagpur to 3rd semester students of Computer Technology. Around 127 students were attended the SDP. He was provided the hands-on programming practice on ASP.NET Technology. This cutting-edge technology knowledge will benefited to students for performing their practical’s in their curriculum.

The Department of Computer Technology organized a webinar named “Get Started” held by Dr.
Heena Timani , Vice Chair , ACM Ahmedabad , ACM-W finalists Amritha Sundararajan,
Soundarya Krishna and Shradha Sehgal . The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Supriya
Thombre & Prof. Nikhil Mangrulkar.The workshop was conducted for the students of all
semesters. The speaker has given information about their experiences in IT world and gave
information about their papers. They also told regarding current trends and not only inspired
women but also motivated everyone on the call. The program was beneficial for students.

This event was organized on 12th September 2020 and 13th September 2020 under ACM by Mr. Chaitanya Deshpande, Assistant System Engineer, TCS Nagpur & Ms. Manasa V. K, System Administrator, TCS, Bangalore. The event was a Technical Event based on Introduction to Mobile Application Development.
Following were the contents covered in the event -
Introduction to Android Operating System,Introduction to IOS Operation System,
Android Architecture
Activity and its Life Cycle,
Hands-On Session with some sample Programming Questions on the same topics.
Hands-On on Intent, Shared Preferences alongwith development of one small application,
Deployment of Application on Playstore,Insights about Detailed Analysis made on website for the developed application.

The two-day workshop on Java programming language was organized by ACM in YCCE. On the first day, Ms. Aditi Kale introduced the history and features of Java, followed by Mr. Suraj Nair who covered programming concepts such as variables, data types, and control structures. Mr. Yash Waghmare then explained the class and object concept.
On the second day, Ms. Purva Natoo covered the implementation of object-oriented concepts like encapsulation and inheritance with programming examples. Mr. Saurabh Charade then explained topics such as abstraction and polymorphism, with a focus on runtime polymorphism, and gave plenty of examples. The session concluded with a small assignment given to students, and both HoD and Deshkar madam expressed appreciation for the alumni speakers and thanked them for their time.

session was addressed by our distinguished alumnus Mr. Gandhar Patwardhan (Founder, S2P
Edutech Pvt Ltd, Nagpur, Maharashtra), Mr. Kiran Machhewar (Application Engineer at Google,
San Francisco Bay Area), Mr. Kirti Bansod (Software QA Engineer at Amazon, Seattle,
Washington) and Mr. Abhilash Bhurse (Data Engineer at Perficient, San Francisco, California).
The session was conducted for the students of second, third and fourth year. The speakers gave
students insights of the industry.They briefed about the trending opportunities in the industry
and hoe students can land on such great opportunities in big MNCs.
They also told about the essential skills and programming language required for placements.
The program was beneficial for student. Students were happy with the session.

Managing Director –6Simplex Software Solutions Pvt Ltd was resource person. In this guest lecture,
speakers highlighted the various aspects of machine learning. He
specifically focuses on the importance of machine learning in GIS. Program was very beneficial for the student.
